PLEIOSPILOS NELII

Origen: Sudáfrica, provincia de El Cabo

Los pleiospilos, parientes de las piedras vivas, semejan grupos de piedras hasta que, en otoño, nace la flor.

Son plantas desertícolas por lo que no necesitan mucha agua.

Soportan heladas débiles.

Se reproducen por semillas o separando hijuelos.

Common name: split rock plant
Pleiospilos, relative to lithops, look like clusters of stones until the flower emerges in early fall.
They´re desert plants so they don´t need much water.
They withstand light frosts.
Propagation is from seeds or offsets.
